2011年6月30日至7月1日，国际测量联合协会(International Measurement Confederation ,IMEKO)和电气电子工程师学会(Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers ,IEEE)仪器与测量分会(Instrumentation & Measurement Society)在意大利Orvieto联合举办了国际学术交流会议--“IMEKO IWADC 2011 International Workshop on ADC Modelling ,Testing and Data Converter Analysis and Design and IEEE 2011 ADC Forum”。我院近代物理系赵雷博士受邀参会并有两篇学术论文在会议上进行了大会报告，分别是“The Design and Initial Testing of the Beam Position Measurement System in SSRF Based on Full Digital Processing”及“A Beam Phase and Energy Measurement System Based on Direct RF Signal IQ Under-sampling Technology”。
此次国际学术交流会议包含了IMEKO IWADC和IEEE ADC论坛两个部分，此会议致力于高速高精度ADC测试、建模及数据获取系统的研究，并在会议期间对ADC及DAC测试的国际IEEE标准的更新进行了讨论。会上来自于约二十个国家的专家通过口头发言与海报的形式介绍并交流了此领域的最新研究成果。
