Quantum Properties of Cluster-based Nanostructures and Their controlling

The cluster-based nanostructures with quantum properties become one of hot topics in current nanoscience and nanotechnology. Following are a few examples related to the research work in our group.
1) Quantization of surface phonon modes of Si clusters; 2) Long lifetime photolumicescence of silicon cluster-assembled nanowires; 3) Conductance resonance in gold cluster-assembled nanostructures; 4)Laser manipulation of magnetic properties of dilute magnetic semiconductor nanostructures; 5)Strong magnetoelectric coupling in Tb-Fe(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3 thin film heterostructure prepared by low energy cluster beam deposition, etc.
