报告摘要：The mass of the Milky Way is one of the most important astrophysical quantities. However, for various limitations in theories and observations, the mass had been poorly determined. Here we propose, in a completely new angle of views, a new method in the cosmological context, and present the most accurate determination. I will also discuss in detail about the method.

报告人简介：景益鹏，2015年入选中国科学院院士。1989年在中国科学技术大学天体物理中心取得硕士学位，1992年在意大利国际高等研究院（SISSA）取得天体物理博士学位。2000-2012年任上海天文台星系宇宙学中心首席科学家。2008-2014年任中国科学院星系宇宙学重点实验室主任。2012年至今任上海交通大学教授及物理与天文学院院长。主要研究兴趣包括暗物质与暗能量、宇宙大尺度结构及星系形成和演化。
